Fast fashion is one of the most prominent issues contributing to climate change. This project begins to tackle this problem through an informative public poster series which encourages people to think before buying, in addition to proposing an expert interface to persuade large companies to introduce takeback programmes.
The poster series takes on some of the key issues of fast fashion, such as waste and child labour, and presents them in visually engaging ways for the audience to interact with, with the hope of them reducing their shopping habits and buying from more sustainable brands.
The interface uses companies’ existing economic trends and predicts future trends, based on their current marketing scheme versus introducing a take back programme, with the hope of getting more companies to make more sustainable decisions once they see how they can financially benefit from doing so.
